Wymagania
• Recognised degree/qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
• 3+ years’ experience of environmental, health and safety on construction sites. Data Centre construction experience would be advantageous.
• Fluent English. Good knowledge of Portuguese/Polish would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent and effective communication skills to influence safety culture.
• Ability to conduct training sessions and deliver safety inductions/presentations effectively.
• Strong back office and computer skills (proficiency in using Microsoft 365 and TEAMS), as well as ability to maintain reporting databases and associated documentation.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
Obowiązki
Risk Management and Incident Investigation
• Develop general method statements/risk assessments of all the project activities (RAMS).
• Conduct regular hazards/risk reviews and updates of the projects HSE manuals, guidelines and risk assessments.
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections and follow up/monitoring of the work on site to check for compliance (safety rules being followed up, platforms used correctly and tag in date, housekeeping all in order, PPE being used correctly etc.)
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, preparing reports, implementing and following up corrective and preventive actions.
Compliance and Regulations
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Nordics countries HSE legislation and best practices, ensuring the company complies with all relevant local, national and international HSE regulations and standards.
Training and Awareness
• Organise and deliver HSE training sessions (including safety inductions and toolbox talks) and workshops for employees at all levels.
• Ensure appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is available, maintained, and used correctly by employees.
• Ensure First AID boxes are regularly inspected and kept up to date with in-date products.
• Promote and support a strong and positive and proactive safety culture by leading awareness campaigns and engagement.
Others
• Monitor, communicate and report on HSE-related Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the site.
• Liaise with external regulators (HSE, Environmental Agency, Local Authorities) during inspections and audits.
• Coordinate, support and champion HSE improvement initiatives.
• Undertake any other duties, as may reasonably be required of this role.
